أخبرنا محمود بن غيلان، قال حدثنا بشر بن السري، قال حدثنا سفيان، عن أشعث، عن الأسود بن هلال، عن ثعلبة بن زهدم اليربوعي، قال كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يخطب في أناس من الأنصار فقالوا يا رسول الله هؤلاء بنو ثعلبة بن يربوع قتلوا فلانا في الجاهلية . فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهتف بصوته " ألا لا تجني نفس على الأخرى " .
