حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى، أخبرنا سليمان بن بلال، عن يحيى بن سعيد، أخبرني عدي بن ثابت، أن عبد الله بن يزيد الخطمي، حدثه أن أبا أيوب أخبره أنه، صلى مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في حجة الوداع المغرب والعشاء بالمزدلفة ‏.‏ وحدثناه قتيبة، وابن، رمح عن الليث بن سعد، عن يحيى بن سعيد، بهذا الإسناد ‏.‏ قال ابن رمح في روايته عن عبد الله بن يزيد الخطمي، وكان، أميرا على الكوفة على عهد ابن الزبير ‏.‏
